MUMBAI TIMES: The children did not attend the school today as they were not feeling well, as they complained of stomach pain and were vomiting their parents immediately brought them to the hospital.

A student studying in a BMC-run Urdu medium school in Mumbai’s Sanjay Nagar area at Shivaji Nagar, Govandi died today morning.

50-60 children have been admitted to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar.

The possible cause behind the student’s death and ill health of children is said to be suspected poisoning through food or medicines.
