Today I smoked smoke Texas Style St. Louis Spare Ribs w/ Dr. Pepper Whiskey BBQ Sauce.

Rib Rub:
Kosher Salt
Coarse Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder

Dr. Pepper Whiskey BBQ Sauce:
3 TBS butter
1 chopped onion
4 chopped garlic cloves
1 Cup Ketchup
3 TBS Tomato Paste
1 12oz. Can Dr. Pepper
1/4 whiskey
1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar
1/3 worschestershire sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp dark chili powder
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp kosher salt.

Bring to a slow boil then simmer for 15-20 min. Let cool, them pour into blender and blend. Pour into mason jar or condiment bottle. Refrigerate 2-24 hrs and serve.
